AusRAIL talks to Downer Rail and UGL Limited!



We had the opportunity to interview Andy Summers, Chief Executive of UGL Infrastructure and UGL Rail and Peter Borden, Chief Executive Officer of Downer Rail who are part of the CEO Forum on Day 3 of AusRAIL PLUS 2011 in Brisbane this November!

1. Gentlemen, you will all be contributing to the Rail Suppliers CEO Forum being held as part of the AusRAIL PLUS 2011 conference agenda, the theme of the panel is "Two years on - what progress?" and is designed to look at how the industry has moved forward since the first panel was held in Adelaide in 2009, what do you feel will be the main areas being discussed?

Andy, UGL Rail have recently been awarded a number of contracts for the delivery and maintenance of locomotives and rail cars in Australia, the Oscar project that has now been expanded by RailCorp three times has been very successful, what are the key elements of the way this project has been managed that have contributed to its success?
